"'ve spent several years chasing steel head and salmon in upstate New York. I've hired several guides and have been lucky enough to find a couple great ones. Guides who treat you like a king, know there stuff and work hard to get you on fish. My saltwater fishing was confined to surf and jetty excursions with limited success. That all changed when I met Capt.Jerry. Besides having all the traits listed above he will fish the way You want to fish and work his tail off to make sure you catch fish. He is free and open with his knowledge and has taught me how to catch fish on my own out of my kayak. Yeah... Jerry is my guide but he's also my friend. He will get you on fish.... even when there are no fish around...he will find them. I've had several banner days with 30+ stripers and blues and had to tell him I had enough. He would have stayed longer. I can't wait for my next trip! " - Bob D., RI
"I can't say enough about my experience with Captain Jerry Sparks! I met Jerry in the Spring last year and decided to book a day or two of inshore fishing with him for stripers and blues, something I hadn't done for many years. After a great time catching more fish than I ever expected, including good sized blues and stripers, almost non-stop, I was hooked. Since that time I have fished with Jerry on a regular basis covering most of the Rhode Island and Eastern Connecticut south shores. Jerry fishing expertise and knowledge of these fisheries are awesome, and he is always willing to pass along his knowledge answering all of my, almost non-stop questions. He is able to quickly locate fish regardless of the location we are fishing and providing clear instruction on how best to use the equipment and tackle he provides. His boat is great - very comfortable and small enough to get into productive fishing spots that larger boats cannot. Keeper stripers and large blues up to 15 pounds, and even false albacore in the Fall, were commonplace. I generally caught from 10-25 fish per outing - can't ask for more that that. Give Jerry a try - you can't go wrong!" - Gary S.
